After a chillyish august the sunshine has been a relief. Fingers crossed for an Indian summer now! Autumn is a beautiful time with the turnng leaves and an abundance of wonderful berries.
The soil is warm so it's a great time to put plants in (especially trees) so they can get their roots down before the first frosts.
