Initial consultation: This is free for Bristol and North Somerset. For other areas there is a £50 fee which will be offset against any further design work, should you wish to proceed.

Site Survey: These are charged at £40 per hour. Surveys would normally take a minimum of 4 hours including drawing up, but will depend on the size and complexity of the garden.

Sketch Plan: These are charged at £40 per hour with a minimum fee of £320.00. As a guide, a detailed plan usually takes between 10 - 15 hours but again will depend on the size and complexity of the garden.

Specifications: Flora Design fee structure works in a similar way to architectural practices. A sliding scale is applied according to size of project (17% down to 5%) and covers the fee for tender documents, specification drawings, planting plans and monitoring the garden build. A quotation would be prepared prior to taking the initial design plan onto the next phase.

Garden Budget Guidelines: We would advise that you consider budgeting between 5-10% of the house value and treat it as a financial investment. A well designed garden will not only be a more attractive garden but will also hugely increase your living space.
